Dave had been a stand out driver in midgets and sprints before he moved into stock cars in the Busch Series. He was the World of Outlaws champion in 1995. Dave had 2 successful years in the Busch Series then made his way up to Winston Cup in 2000. He began racing for the #77 Jasper Motorsports team in 2002 and completed 96% of all laps run. He finished last year 19th in points and hopes to finish better this year under the direction of his new crew chief, Bob Barker.
