Greg ran Late Model stock cars in 1996, 1997, and 1998 at Tuscon's Raceway Park. He was spotted by Benny Parsons who brought Greg to the attention of Jack Roush. Roush hired Greg and has not been disappointed.
Greg won Rookie of the Year honors in both the Truck (1998) and Busch Series (2001). He is the first driver to win Truck (2000) and Busch (2002) Championships as well. He is also the only Rookie to win a race at Daytona, where he won the Pepsi 400 in 2003.
Greg is looking forward to winning more Cup races in 2004 with new sponsors, the Army National Guard and Subway.
