Jimmie swept both races at the "Monster Mile" in Dover and had a win in CA. This tied Tony Stewart's Winston Cup record with 3 wins in a rookie season. Jimmie was 5th in championship points and was in very tight competition with Ryan Newman who edged past Jimmie for the Rookie of the Year title.
