PARENTS PLEASE, LEAVE YOUR KIDS AT HOME.

Knowing the cost of tickets for a NASCAR Winston Cup race, I find it hard to understand why young children are brought to the track.

Under normal circumstances, a race can take up to 4 hours. The attention span for children is approximately 15 minutes. Beyond that, there isn't much to entertain them.

While parents are so engrossed in the race, their children begin to wander. It wasn't long before I could no longer see the track as a group of children stood at the rail in front of me. After several attempts at trying to get them to move, we sought out security hoping they could take care of the situation. Unfortunately, after speaking with security, they never showed up to extricate the children.

This left the problem up to me. I put on my meanest face, went down and screamed at them to get back to their seats. Throughout this entire episode, the parents remained completely oblivious. It was clear that they didn't want to bother controlling their children.

These adults showed a total lack of respect for other spectators. How could we expect their children to have any? Tell us about your experiences with disrespectful fans
